I place these around the edge of the gaming table where the missing walls don't show up and look odd in photo's, but using them makes the game run a bit more easily and smoothly.
This is one of my favourite builds as it takes up almost a whole 12" square. I use it as two shops and four apartments.
I plan to add some signage and things once I've built a few more buildings to give mnore detail and depth.

Got a little alleyway that can be added if needed
Looking good.

DeleteMate, we'll have to see about colouring your base board. Maybe a tester pot of emulsion - grey or something? Don't know what your plan is....
ReplyDeleteI've already painted it with some left over paint. Cookie dough I think. Looks the colour of sand at the moment. I'm thinking green to be honest for the rural games. As the urban will eventually have walkways and buildings covering it all. The green can then be hardens in suburban
DeleteYou can always do both, paint each side differently and then flip between the two, especially as you terrain isn't attached to the board
DeleteCan't do that as I have battening on the other side to hold 3 pieces together and then 3 sets of 2 pieces together..
DeleteOh yeah and the babes, how do you want them based?
ReplyDeleteHowever dude. I leave it to your good judgement. They'll mainly be used in urban area's so no grass if that's ok
DeleteAll very useful! Great looking terrain dude!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bob, just need to build some more
